It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! This is one of my favourite memes, and judging from your likes and comments, it seems to be one of your favourites too!
For those of you who don’t know, here is a quote from The Broke and the Bookish, the genuises behind this weekly meme!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and, if you want to, add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s posts (typically put up midnight EST on Tuesday) so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
Aaaaand this week’s prompt is:
Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward To For The First Half Of 2017
I’m very excited about this prompt! And while it wasn’t difficult to find 10 books to add to this list, it was certainly difficult to select just 10! Also, I apologize that I will not be doing my usually commentary on each item this week. I just wrote a final exam and my brain is a little burned out. I will make it up to you guys next week!
– ONE –
Elise Kova’s The Alchemists of Loom
– TWO –
Louise Gornall’s Under Rose Tainted Skies
– THREE –
Stephanie Garber’s Caraval
– FOUR –
S. Jae-Jones’ Wintersong
– FIVE –
Rin Chupeco’s The Bone Witch
– SIX –
Roshani Chokshi’s A Crown of Wishes
– SEVEN –
Lexa Hillyer’s Spindle Fire
– EIGHT –
Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Wings and Ruin
– NINE –
Sandhya Menon’s When Dimple Met Rishi
– TEN –
Kiersten White’s Now I Rise
– HONOURABLE MENTIONS–
And again I failed at keeping it at just 10. Well, there is a top 10 list, but I had to have some honourable mentions, because I could just not leave these exciting titles out!
I’m not familiar with most of the books on your list (I’m not much up on the newest fantasy) but I have heard good things about When Dimple Met Rishi.
Thanks so much for your comment! And haha, I mostly read fantasy so I’m not surprised that most of the books on this list ended up being fantasy haha sorry. And yes I’ve heard good things too! Very excited to read it.
I think my tbr list just grew 🙂
I love your list and am looking forward to many of them as well. I’ve also added a few of these to my TBR for 2017. Thanks for sharing!
Caraval is definitely a must read for me and perhaps my most anticipated reads since I have yet to see a bad review for it. A Crown of Wishes and When Dimple Met Rishi are definitely up there, too! I have not seen anything about Roar, though, so I will definitely go check that out. Great post and all of these books look so good. 🙂
So many great books on this list! I’m reading Under Rose-Tainted Skies right now (I, very luckily, managed to grab an eARC on NetGalley) and I’m flying through it because it’s SO GOOD. Seriously, I read like 175 pages yesterday which is unheard of for me but I can’t put it down. I’m also really looking forward to Spindle Fire, The Bone Witch, and Caraval. Really great choices!
Oh man I hope you get it soon! It’s seriously so good, I can tell I’m going to be recommending it nonstop haha
Hahahaha I know the feeling!
I had a hard just choosing ten too! You showcased some great books, thanks for sharing.
My excitement level for Starfall, The Alchemeist of Loom, and When Dimple Met Rishi is borderline unbearable. I’ve been keeping myself busy with other books, but it’s going down in 2017. Such an impressive YA collection *thumbs up*
Haha, that’s good, because the wait is daunting. You’re so welcome 🙂
