monthly wrap-up

Montly Wrap-Up (November 2016)

tumblr_n8opg8pmkr1t19jpho1_500And so, another month has passed and we are now entering the last 31 days of 2016. Can you believe it?! Time sure does fly. It feels as if it was just yesterday that January 2016 had begun, and I was pulling my hair out while looking over all of the course work looming in front of me, standing between me and my Master’s degree, haha. I cannot believe that it will now have been a year minus 31 days since that crazy time. Now I know that the above GIF will not be accurate for all of you (I’m not ignorant enough to believe that it snows everywhere in the world during this time of year), but here in Canada, December usually ends up looking like a winter wonderland over next months.

f776b67f45f787cfba3d25462114c0afI have never minded driving in snow, and have always found it quite beautiful. Last year especially, we had a lot of snow, but milder temperatures, which made the season a lot more enjoyable. Those of us closer to the North and South poles (who are fortunate enough to have this option) will be bundling up with our favourite drinks and books while the temperatures outside drop below zero Celsius in the months to come. And some of us have already been bundling and reading, because it is one of the greatest winter activities. So, this is what I’ve been up to while spending my time in this comfortable, bundled state:

  1. I can’t believe tomorrow will already be the beginning of December! This year flew by! I hope it snows in my area this year because I love snow! I have loved your bookish item reviews so far, now I am so envious of the bookish items you own 🙂 I’m planning on reading My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories and A Thousand Pieces of You. I also hope to finish some of the books I’m reading for sure. I still have 8 more books to read in order to complete my Goodreads reading goal for the year, so I need to read a lot in December if I hope to accomplish that goal. Great wrap-up!

    1. Yes it does look ambitious doesn’t it?! I’m trying not to panic about it. I also need to read 3 books which will be released on January 3rd…but I’m trying not to think about that!

      Thank you! 🙂

  2. I’m so jealous that you’ve finished the Grisha trilogy! I’ve kept picking it up and putting it down for like, years, and for some reason other books just keep getting in the way. And I’m so excited for snow too!! December is definitely my favorite month.

  3. It seems like your blogging and reading in December went really well. Snow does look beautiful, unfortunately, it doesn’t snow here. Enjoy your current reads and have a wonderful December:-)

    1. Thanks so much for reading and commenting! And yes, haha when not looking for work, I had quite a bit of free time on my hands haha. And I’m sad that it doesn’t snow where you are! 🙁

  4. So many wonderful books that have been read and that you plan on reading! I hope you’ll enjoy Six of Crows just as much as I did! And man, I couldn’t agree more. When winter begins out here in Canada, it really does look like Winter Wonderland. 😛
