I set my goal this year to 123 books! And I hit 128 books! Yay!
I’m not sure what I’ll set my 2020 reading goal to! I’d like to make it 200 or 120 or something like that, but I’m not sure if I can make it to 200, and 120 is less than my goal was this year. What are you setting your goal to?
It sounds like you had a great month and a great reading year! Why not set your goal somewhere between 120 and 200, maybe 150? You can always change it as you look at your reading pace over the year. I usually end up just choosing a random number!
I really did! And thank you so much for reading my wrap up post 🙂
Also, ended up going with 200 and just seeing how it goes haha. I guess I can always lower it too if I find that I’m just not reading as much as I’d planned 🙂
Yes, I like how you can change the number as you go – I usually set mine pretty high at first as I read tonnes of picture books in my job (teacher), but we’ll see how we go this year…good luck!
Yes I like that feature too! And oooo you must love that aspect of your job 😉 hehe
It is a bonus! I read to the kids as much as possible, even when we should probably be doing something else. “Just one more chapter!”
Hehehe you’re turning them into bookworms and I love it!
I set my goal for 100 again this year. In 2018 and 2019 I read 119 and 120 books so I want to see if I can reach 100+ again.
That’s a really good goal number! And I think you can definitely do it 😉
Thank you I think I can too so long as I don’t have long slumps creep up on me.
Ahhhh the dreaded reading slumps… Hope we can all avoid those this year!
Yeah it would be very nice to go a whole year without ending up in a slump.
Agreed!
Congrats for surpassing your 2019 reading goal, I hope 2020 will be even better! I can’t wait to read your review for Daughter of Smoke and Bone 🙂
Thank you so much! And I wish you all the best reads in 2020! Also, I wasn’t sure about reviewing that one, but now I’ll have to 😉
