Happy Tuesday, and happy Top Ten Tuesday day, everyone! This week’s theme is: Top Ten Books That Awaken The Travel Bug In Me, and I was super excited about his topic because (as some of you may know) I love to travel and read … so this combo is amazing! Continue reading if you want to see which ten books I selected this week!
For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote
from The Artsy Reader Girl, the host of this weekly meme!
I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
You’ll find the schedule of upcoming TTT topics below so you can plan ahead. I’ll post a Linky here on the blog each week so you can link up your post (if you want). If you don’t have a blog, post your picks in the comment section below! Have tons of fun talking books and getting to know your fellow bloggers!
… and now that all of the necessary stuff is out of the way …
Hmm I have to say I’m not sure I’d like the kind of travel in Gentleman’s Guide. There’s a little too much roughing it, getting kidnapped and robbed for my liking
It is a great book though and I may be on board if I was travelling with Monty.
Oh haha yeah I didn’t really think of those parts, but more the touring Europe aspect 😀
And Monty is the best!
This was a tricky list for me and you made a really good one! Firenze/Florence in Italy was so lovely last spring, I really want to go to Spain soon but not sure where
Hahaha I don’t need many excuses to want to travel, so I definitely had a lot of books as options for this prompt 😛 And ahhhh I haven’t been to Florence since I was a kid and really want to see it again soon! And yes Spain is on my list too 😀
Great picks! I definitely get The Star-Touched Queen and so badly need to pick up A Gentlemen’s Guide!
Yeeeees! I really want to visit India 😀 And gah Gentleman’s Guide was my favourite book of last year!
On the one hand, I feel like I NEED Outlander. But on the other hand, I feel like it’s the kind of series that’s probably filled with graphic sex scenes, and I don’t really need that…
Ahhh yeah I feel like it has graphic sex scenes as well! But am not 100% sure because I haven’t read even a chapter yet lol
I so wanna read the serie “hunting prince dracula” is from !! im just not quite sure if i’d like it .. mmh..
The heart between us by Lindsay harrel so got me the want to travel ! She gets all around the globe to accomplish her heart donor’s bucket list. For someone who never had the means to travel before, it was so nice to get like, descriptions of all thoses places
Aweee I really enjoy it! I also found that the authors writing improves from book 1 to book 2. I hope that you enjoy them if you end up picking them up. And I’ll have to check that book out! Thank you for sharing! 😀
Warcross did make me want toxvisit Tokyo. 🙂 And Outlander for Scotland!!
I wish Warcross had had more Tokyo in it honestly haha. I don’t know if I was picturing it so well because of the descriptions or because I have already been there twice before hahaha
Oh! I’ve read The Star-Touched Queen and I also loved the vivid descriptions of India!
Yeeees me too! I hope to visit India soon!
ooooh yass Warcross totally make we want to move to Japan!!
Yeeees! I already wanted to move to Japan to begin with hahahaha
Yes to Outlander! I never understand the appeal of highland romance but after I read Outlander, all I want to do is visit the scottish highlands!
Yeeeees! Scotland is beautiful! <3
