Ahhhh look at that new TTT header! I absolutely love it. So fresh and crisp … and it goes so nicely with my new theme too! Sorry, I’m a dork for good graphics, hehe. This week we’re keeping in the spirit of the “New Year New You” subject by listing our top 10 bookish resolutions/goals. I’ve only consciously set one or two bookish goals, so this will be interesting. I’m also curious to see everyone else’s goals too! Also, just a reminder (although it’s written into the header), starting this week, Top Ten Tuesday has moved from The Broke and the Bookish to The Artsy Reader Girl! So be sure to update your bookmarks and all that if you’re a participant or plan on participating in the future.
For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote from The Artsy Reader Girl, the genuises behind this weekly meme!
I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
You’ll find the schedule of upcoming TTT topics below so you can plan ahead. I’ll post a Linky here on the blog each week so you can link up your post (if you want). If you don’t have a blog, post your picks in the comment section below! Have tons of fun talking books and getting to know your fellow bloggers!
…and now that all of the necessary stuff is out of the way….
Staying true to yourself is definitely the best one on here! But I’m also trying to focus more on the books I already own. There’s just so many on my shelves already!
Aweee I’m glad that you like that one! 🙂
And yeahhh focusing on the TBR is a big goal of mine this year. I have like 4 shelves of books that I OWN that I really need to get through.
Thanks for reading! 😀
Great ideas, but I think you have the same problem I do: plenty of desire and motivation, but never enough time!
Thank you! And thanks for reading 🙂
Also I agree. Lack of time is definitely an issue!
I love the faster reader goal. I feel like how fast I read depends on the book. Romances seem to fly by faster than others.
Same here! My level of engagement is definitely a factor. 100%! I read romances a lot faster too haha. But strangely….lately I’ve been reading contemporary YA thrillers the quickest. Hmmm.
These are all great goals! Stay true to yourself is a great one and something I think we should all strive for in 2018!
Thank you so much! And thanks for reading! I’m glad that that was not a weird one to put on there and that you agree that it’s important 🙂
I have started writing my blog posts in advance. I forgot that was a thing. It has definitely helped tremendously!
I’ve been getting better at doing that throughout the last half of 2017. I’m always so happy when I manage to write and schedule posts for the week on the weekend. But then…during the week, I feel the urge to blog, and if I don’t have book reviews to write, I get kind of stumped on what to post hahaha. That happened to me today actually.
Yeah, you can never win haha. I kinda feel that way during the week.
Hahaha. Definitely can’t win 😛
Physical TBR has been a big one today! I think we all have too many books on our shelves and are itching for some spring cleaner to make room for more. 🙂
I love your new theme!
I’m glad I’m not alone on that one! I always feels so guilty when I walk by my bookshelves haha.
And thank you so much! I had fun making it 😀 Also thanks for reading, Amber!
We have a lot of the same goals! I love it. I am very motivated right now! I hope you have a productive year!
i love your goals! i hope you can achieve them all. i am especially with you on number 5. this is a habit i really need to break too. no more phone distractions! 😀
