Happy New Year! And welcome to my very first Top Ten Tuesday post of the year! I am very excited about this week’s prompt, as I have been meaning to do some more research regarding 2017 upcoming books! Making this list has helped me discover some upcoming books which I had not yet known about, and I am very happy about that. I hope that you enjoy my list as much as I enjoyed creating it!
For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote from The Broke and the Bookish, the genuises behind this weekly meme!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and, if you want to, add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s posts (typically put up midnight EST on Tuesday) so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Forgot to add When Dimple Met Rishi and Ronit & Jamil in mine! I was so excited when I first heard about them. I love the rest of your list, too 😀
Ahhh yes they sounds good! I had heard about When Dimple Met Rishi a while ago, and will be doing an ARC review on it. But I hadn’t heard about Ronit & Jamil until yesterday! We must have similar tastes 😉
Ooh, that ‘Beast’ book looks really interesting! We’ve had a million and one retellings of B&tB, but that is such a fresh take on it! 😀
It does! I actually found out today that it has been postponed to 2018 thought 🙁 sadly. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to wait! It really does sound like an interesting take on the classic story!
Thanks so much for reading and commenting! 🙂
Oh nooo, I’m so sad not to get it this year! I’ll have to delete it from my memory so I don’t angst about waiting for it, lol! I am pretty keen for it, though, sigh!
Ahhhh I’m sorry that I added it to your memory in the first place! 🙁 I didn’t know until I requested an ARC and they told me the sad news. Double sigh 😛
I forgive you 😉 All good, we shall mourn together!
Hahaha yesss. Mourn together we shall. 😛
Caravel is in my radar. I really loved Wintersong and I’m happy to see it on so many lists!!
Yess, Caraval sounds like it’ll be good! I’m reading it near the end of the month and I’m super excited. I’ll also be reading Wintersong and can’t wait! So glad to hear that you loved it! 😀
Caraval is on everyone’s radar!
Here’s my Top Ten Books I Really Will Read This Year!
I’m so crazy excited for most of these! I can’t wait to read Caraval! I have an eARC, but there’s no send to Kindle option. *cries* I have it preordered now. Great picks!!
My Top Ten
Aweeee that’s too bad! I understand why you wouldn’t want to read it on your computer screen! Glad to hear that you pre-ordered it though, as that helps the author out a lot 🙂
Thanks so much! And thanks for reading and commenting!
Definitely! I would’ve bought it anyway for that beautiful cover!
So many nice retellings and other awesome books! I can’t wait to check these out 🙂
Me too! And thanks so much for reading my post and leaving a comment!! 😀
Great choices! I included a couple of these in my own TTT this week like Sea Witch and When Dimple Met Rishi. Even though I didn’t include Caraval or Wintersong, I’m really excited for those, too.
Here’s my TTT if you’re interested and haven’t seen it yet: https://kourtnireads.wordpress.com/2017/01/03/top-ten-2017-debuts-im-excited-for/
Ohhh awesome! Sounds like we have similar (good) taste in books! 😉
I’ll be sure to check your post out!
We share a few books in our lists!
My TTT.
Yay! I always love when that happens! I will check your post out right now! 😀
We had some of these on our list as well! Our TTT
Awesome! I will check your post out right now! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! 😀
Ooh great list some of which I haven’t heard of yet, need to go and check them out now!! (watch the TBR grow 😉 )
Ahhhh I love when my posts inspire others to add to their TBRs! This made me smile! 😀
Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
I love these posts, I always discover new books ☺️So excited for Caraval and When Dimple Met Rishi!!
I’d like to see a synopsis of Sea Witch because LITTLE MERMAID. And Wicked! Daughter of the Burning City sounds both interesting and mysterious.
I’m surprised about Ronit & Jamil’s rating. From the synopsis, it souds great and I want to read it, but when I saw the ratings… could be some haters maybe.
So many new releases!! Great list 🙂
Same! For the same reason!
And yes, those should be some good ones! Also, I’m hoping for a more detailed synopsis for Sea Witch soon! I requested an ARC of it, so hoping to hear something from my contact soon. At least an exact release date or something 🙂
I was surprised by the rating on Ronit & Jamil too! But from what I saw, the people who rated it low, didn’t give any explanation. I requested it and will definitely post up my opinion if I end up getting a copy 😀
Thanks so much for reading and commenting!!
Let’s hope we have more information on those soon. Good luck for the ARC of Sea Witch 🙂
Yeah, I saw that too, they just rated it low but didn’t say anything, so I’m not bothered by their ratings, but it’s not fair.
Thanks! And yeah it really isn’t fair 🙁
Maybe they don’t know what “in verse” means, or don’t know how to appreciate it 😛
