From the award-winning author of Princess Princess Ever Aftercomes The Tea Dragon Society, a charming all-ages book that follows the story of Greta, a blacksmith apprentice, and the people she meets as she becomes entwined in the enchanting world of tea dragons.
After discovering a lost tea dragon in the marketplace, Greta learns about the dying art form of tea dragon care-taking from the kind tea shop owners, Hesekiel and Erik. As she befriends them and their shy ward, Minette, Greta sees how the craft enriches their lives—and eventually her own.
– My Review –
This book was one of the sweetest things that I have ever read! And it was definitely the sweetest and cutest graphic novel that I have ever come across. It’s 100% suited for all ages, as indicated, ranging from children to adults! The art was very pleasant to look at, and just put a smile on my face the entire time. Most of the colours were pastels, and really easy on the eyes, while the darker scenes were pleasant to look at as well. There was nothing that I would consider scary in this book, but might recommend that parents with children who scare easily, look it over first, just in case (plus you’ll have fun doing so, and will likely end up reading the whole graphic novel because you’re having so much fun).
The plot of The Tea Dragon Society is not too complex, but there is definitely some mystery there, and a depth that can be explored with future titles. I found the whole idea of the tea dragons to be very unique, and well thought-out. This graphic novel gave me the cute and cozy feeling that I used to get while watching Pocket Dragon Adventures as a child! So nostalgic. I was certainly intrigued by the book to begin with, but even more so after reading the first few pages! I had meant to only read one of the chapters, but ended up plowing through the whole graphic novel in one sitting. I definitely recommend this book for readers of all ages!

You can never go overboard when it comes to Christmas!!
I’m glad you agree hehehehe 😉
This does seem like a cute book. I may need to get it and read it…and then it may turn into a Christmas present for my boyfriend’s niece. I plan to utterly spoil her with books.
There you go! That’s a good plan 😉
I hope that you enjoy it! 😀
That plan also means I get to read more books, and I get to make sure that they’ll be good books for little miss Addy.
