– My Answers to Darque’s Questions –
- If you had to stick with one book genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fantasy. Definitely fantasy! And if that includes science fiction, then even better! - If you had to dye your hair a color, or colors, to represent your soul, what color, or colors, would you choose?
This one’s easy too! Definitely a soft/pastel pink. Or a pastel pink, hot pink ombre, hehe. - What charity or awareness foundation is close to your heart?
I can’t think of a particular one, but it’s usually animal-related for me. - If you could travel back in time, which time period would you choose?
Definitely the Victorian era! But only if I could come back to this time after, because that age was not a good one for women, and there were diseases…yuck in the streets. Haha. Yes I’m a picky time traveler! - What is the one book, movie, or television show that has brought sunshine to your life?
This is so tough! Why Darque?! Why?! Um, if I have to pick one, I would go with…the anime series Yuri on Ice! (you can read my review and rambles about it here!) - What is your all time favorite food?
Another tough one. Why you do this to meeee? If I have to choose, I’ll go with tandoori chicken! - What is your favorite band or artist?
I don’t usually have a favourite. There are some bands that I continually listen to over the years, and then there are some bands that I’m crazy about in phases. I guess right now I really love NCT 127? - What would the title of your autobiography be?
This one’s easy. It would be titled Oh, Flavia - What would your character’s name be in a fantasy novel?
Fartacus. No, um I don’t really know? Flavia I guess? I don’t see that name around enough 😛 - What is your favorite flower?
The rooooose - What required school reading books did you enjoy?
Twelfth Night, Macbeth, To Kill a Mockinbird, Wuthering Heights, The Scarlet Letter, Jane Eyre, A Tale of Two Cities, The Hobbit, and Othello of the ones which I can recall!
– My Questions –
- What are you reading right now?
- What was your favourite read from 2016?
- What is your favourite read of 2017 so far?
- Do you read more than one book at once? Why? Why not?
- Do you enjoy reading classics?
- What is your ideal reading spot?
- Do you read when you travel?
- How many books do you read in a month (approximately)?
- How many books do you read in a year (approximately)?
- What is your favourite genre? Why?
- Do you read more during a particular season than other seasons?
Thank you for tagging me Flavia! legit LOL’d at some of your answers Fartacus bahhhhha! LOVE IT! Goodness, we share a lot of the same loved classics, my faves being To Kill a Mockinbird, The Scarlet Letter, and Othello. Lawd knows I tried the other ones but could NOT get into them *sobs* &&&& I would SOoO also go back to the Victorian Era if I could travel back & forth cuz of all of your reasons AND I’m not sure how long I’d tolerate a corset haha! 😉
Thank you so much for the nomination! There should be more people with the name Flavia! I really like your name it sounds cool when you say it haha. I think you’d look good with light pink hair haha I don’t know what color I’d dye my hair to represent my soul… maybe black lol.
Love your answers! So we can run away to the Victorian Era together!
Yessssss let’s do it! Tea and crumpets madam?
We’ll be the jammiest bits of jam at the tea party!
Oh, Flavia. That’s so cute! I love it.
Awesome
Fartacus had me lol’ing!!
I think everyone has disliked their name at least once in their life. Everyone always says how they love my name but I’m just like “ehhhhhh”. I don’t think I’ll ever dye my hair tbh I don’t want to ruin my hair with dyes.
You’re probably right! And awe I really like your name too! And that’s good! I dyed mine various shades of bark brown over the years but stopped doing that in 2014 and my hair only fully recovered this year haha.
Awe thanks – may we exchange names lol? What’s your original hair color?
everything makes sense now…i was looking for your blog and then i noticed i wasn’t following you which turned a huge lightbulb in my head as to why i never saw you on my reader. i feel horrible and embarrassed now. *hides face*
thank you so much for tagging me! great answer for the one genre question, i think you can never go wrong with reading fantasy forever because you can literally do so much with it as a writer. it isn’t limited at all, i would’ve picked fantasy as well!
i also love the Victorian Era and i definitely agree with you when you wrote about how it wasn’t good to women. it would be great to wear a dress from that era and be all posh and fancy lol!
Hahaha awe no worries! That’s actually happened to me before too, and I just had these wide eyes while slowly clicking on the “follow” button of someone whom I should have already been following for months. Such a woops moment. It’s hard to keep track of blogs and twitter and instagram.
Also you’re welcome for the tag! Hope it’s more fun for you than extra stress haha. I know that some people get stressed by tags, especially if they start piling up.
You, Lilly, and I should go to a party in the Victorian Era together hehehe.
You are so right!! It is definitely hard to keep track of blogs, twitter, and instagram. Sometimes I wish there was more time in a day but adulting calls plus other responsibilities lol.
I had stopped doing tags for a while but I am back at it again, I am really excited to do this tag! I love tags/awards that have different questions <3
We all should go to a Victorian Era Party, I am so down! We can all play dress up with our fancy dresses. I'm giggling just thinking about it!
