I had not heard about this book until I received an email about the cover reveal and giveaway that was happening, but I had heard of Eliza Wass’s other book (which was also published with Disney-Hyperion) The Cresswell Plot. While I missed out on requesting that book around the time that it came out last year, (and was quite jealous of the people who did get ARCs for that book, because they were delivered in a box full of earth! Isn’t that cool?!) I will definitely not be missing out on requesting, reading, and reviewing this upcoming release! The synopsis for The Life and Death Parade sounds quite interesting, and I was kind of already hooked when tarot was mentioned, because I absolutely love tarot and everything involving tarot. Read on to find out more about The Life and Death Parade!

And ah! The cover is so striking! I really like that only 3 colours were used, and the design in the center really screams tarot! I don’t know about you, but tarot has played a big role in my family ever since I was really young. My parents have been reading tarot for themselves and my sister and I for years and years. My mom also knows how to read coffee grounds on the inside of someone’s cup (rather than tea leaves, haha). I’m quite interested to see how much of a role tarot and that sort of thing will play in The Life and Death Parade coming out next June!
