– My Review –
Having grown up in a culture that strongly believes in horoscopes and how they can affect how one human interacts with another, I have always been interested in astrology and its effect on relationships. Strangely enough, I never really picked up a book that goes into large detail about this particular subject. I suppose this might be that my interests in other subjects kept me occupied, or that I never 100% believed in the accuracy of astrology. On the other hand, I tell myself that this is a practice that has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years, and that therefore there has to be some truth to it, or it would have become a thing of the past, right?
When I found out that Quirk Books had published a book about astrology and I saw the cover, I knew that I had to request it for review. Well, this book is even more stunning in person, with silver accents on the cover, and beautiful imagery on the inside. I was also impressed with the amount of detail that was included in this book. Each zodiac has its own section with a beautiful illustration (like this) and the author then goes into detail about each sign when it comes to work, love, and friends and family! I had never learned about horoscopes quite like this before (since this goes beyond one’s monthly horoscope found in a magazine or the like), and definitely had a lot of fun learning about my own sign as well as the signs of my loved ones! I definitely recommend this book whether you’re a fan of horoscopes, and also even if you’re just curious!

Well Flavia I had to do a school work in English in my last year of high school. I had to speak in English for one hour in front of the class about a topic of my choice. I chose everything related to parapsychology and asked a friend to write the horoscope or rather the “reading” of our English teacher. It was fascinating!
Woa that sounds so cool! But oh my gosh…one hour is SO LONG
