Spirited Away Stationery by Chronicle Books (Review)

I was super excited when I found out that Chronicle Books was releasing some Studio Ghibli products, and even more excited when I found out that Raincoast Books was willing to send me a few of the Spirited Away stationery products to try out and review for all of you! For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been a Ghibli fan for as long as I remember, and Spirited Away is my 2nd favourite Ghibli movie! I might actually have to go for another of many re-watches right after writing this review!

First of all, I want to take a moment to truly appreciate the quality of these stationery products. Not only is everything made sturdy and of high quality, but the colours and illustrations are also incredible! These items really transported me back to one of the many times I was experiencing Spirited Away as they stayed true to the style and vivid colours prominent throughout the film.

I also want to take a moment to appreciate the variety of Spirited Away stationery Chronicle Books has available—two types of journals (a paperback journal featuring concept art on the cover, and a plush No Face journal), a set of postcards, a set of graphite pencils, and a sketchbook bound in a hardcover cloth case! And I’m sure that they’ve expanded the collection since I received these items for review. Overall, I highly recommend these. They’re so fun and of exceptional quality.
