It’s time for another readalong! And this time it’s for another book that I’ve been eager to read for years! Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo! And I’m very happy that I’ll be able to share my experience of reading it for the first time with all of you. I know that this post is going up quite early, but I thought that I’d give people more time, considering how many of us have our reading schedules planned out months in advance. Just wanted to see how it goes, I suppose! All are welcome to join, whether you have read the book before or not. I just ask that if you have read it before, you be aware of which chapters we’re discussing in each discussion so as to avoid spoilers for everyone else. Please read on if you would like more info on the book and the readalong overall!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Title: Six of Crows

Type: Fiction
Genre: YA, Fantasy
Imprint: Henry Holt and Company

Date published: September 29, 2015
Criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker has been offered wealth beyond his wildest dreams. But to claim it, he’ll have to pull off a seemingly impossible heist:
Break into the notorious Ice Court
(a military stronghold that has never been breached)
Retrieve a hostage
(who could unleash magical havoc on the world)
Survive long enough to collect his reward
(and spend it)
Kaz needs a crew desperate enough to take on this suicide mission and dangerous enough to get the job done – and he knows exactly who: six of the deadliest outcasts the city has to offer. Together, they just might be unstoppable – if they don’t kill each other first.
