LIP TIPS

– My Review –

After trying a number of lip paints and matte liquid lipsticks, I didn’t think it was possible…but I found it! I found a liquid lipstick that doesn’t dry my lips out! Since I really like the look of matte liquid lipsticks on me, I thought that I would have to just resign myself to having dry-feeling lips when I wear them. But I’m so happy that I was wrong. And so grateful to Darque Dreamer Reads for sending me a POWERlips Fluid Lipstick to try!

The colour that she sent me is “Determined,” and it really suits me, I think! I avoided oily foods while wearing it at a work event, and it stayed on the entire time. It didn’t flake, or feather, or anything like that. I also like that the scent is very subtle, and it smells a little like vanilla cupcakes (or something like that), which is a scent that I enjoy. I didn’t notice the smell after putting the lipstick on, however.

As you can see in the gallery below my review, the lipstick goes on liquid, then dries to a beautiful matte finish. It stays on quite well, as long as you avoid touching oily or greasy food to your lips. And it comes off easily with an all-natural makeup remover like coconut oil or olive oil! I used olive oil in the picture below, and as you can see, it comes off quite well. You don’t need harsh chemicals to remove this makeup.

Overall, I’m very happy with this product. I will continue using “Determined” for work events, and non-work events, and I will also be purchasing this lipstick in other colours (probably “Persistence,” “Confidence,” and possibly “Breadwinner.”) I definitely recommend this lipstick to those who like the matte look, but dislike how dry other products make their lips feel. I will also definitely be trying other products by NuSkin as well!
