⤖ My Review ⬻

I read and reviewed Peekaboo Jungle last year (while not yet expecting a baby) and even then found that I really liked the design and illustrations of the cloth, crinkle book. So when it came to my attention that there were more books in the series, and now that we have a little one due very soon, I requested to review the remaining three books: Peekaboo Pets, Peekaboo Ocean, and Peekaboo Forest.

I liked that these three books kept the same design and that just as much thought went into them as the first book I experienced. Each book maintains the same thoughtful design and charming illustrations that made the first book stand out to me. The high-contrast black-and-white illustrations are perfect for engaging very young babies, and the cloth and crinkle material is not only safe but also captures their attention effectively.

I also like how they added variety based on their individual themes—each book introduces different animals and environments, keeping the experience fresh while maintaining a cohesive feel across the series. I’m so glad that with these books, the creator focused specifically on very young babies, with lightweight materials, baby-safe designs, and black and white interiors.
