⤖ My Review ⬻

Peekaboo Jungle: Baby’s First Crinkle Peek-A-Book is one of the first books meant for the youngest readers that I’m reviewing! I think there may have been one other book I read that was for readers this young, and I think even that one was for toddlers rather than babies! As my fiance and I have talked about growing our family, I’ve done some looking into baby development and baby books (of course), so I found it great that the Peekaboo Jungle addressed the sensory aspects that need to be covered for this age group.

For those who don’t know, babies need very high-contrast visuals, so the use of black and white in Peekaboo Jungle is noted by me and appreciated! I’m not so sure about the other sensory aspects, but I’m sure the crinkle sounds and the interactive portions of the book (the flaps that open and move) would probably aid with development as well. I have not been able to see a baby interact with this book yet, but if I ever do, I will be sure to update this review!
