Monthly Wrap-Up (January 2017)

ezgif-com-dc8cd74dc0January felt like such a long month! I don’t know if it’s because it’s the first month of the year or what, but it just seemed to draaag. Anyone else feel that way? Didn’t help that all of our snow melted here, and we had nothing but grey skies. But anyway, it’s over now and I’m looking forward to February, the month of loooooove! <3

    1. Really? I always thought that I don’t post enough compared to other bloggers 🙂

I won’t think that anymore now, so thank you!

Also Saga is pretty great, and thanks! I hope Feb is great for you too!

  1. Your reading list for January is making me feel guilty. I’ve been so preoccupied with writing that I read only one complete novel. I keep picking up books but can’t seem to settle on anything other than writing at this moment.

  2. Ooh I see you’re reading Saga! That’s one of my favorite comics of all time (and the only one I still keep up with) How are you liking it? I think it’s the perfect combination of art+story, but I’m a big fan of Brian K Vaughan so I might be biased. Interested to hear your thoughts…

    1. I’m really enjoying it so far! It took some getting used to at first, but the story pulled me in from the get go. I’m also very happy about the story and the art 🙂 I can’t really read comics where the art isn’t aesthetically pleasing, no matter how good the story is.

      1. I’m glad you’re enjoying it! There’s some big changes in store if you’re on volume 2 or 3… And I agree, I think BKV is pretty great at picking good artists to work with (for example Ex Machina, one of my fave comics of all time), so reading his stuff is usually a safe choice.

        1. Yess it’s great! I devoured volumes 2 and 3 in one sitting! Waiting for 4 to become available at my library now hehe. I have 5 but I can’t just skip 4! And I also borrowed volumes 1 and 2 of Paper Girls from my library! So we’ll see if I like more of BKV’s stuff 😉
