Somehow 2017 has snuck up on us, and 2016 has come to an end. While some of us celebrate the memories and achievements from the past year, others are glad to see 2016 go. And then there are those who feel a little bit of both, and I am one of those people.
While I have definitely achieved a number of goals, including finishing and obtaining my Master’s Degree, starting work on a Publishing certificate, as well as starting this blog last April, I am also glad for the fresh start with 2017 will provide. There were quite a few disappointments peppered throughout the happy days, but I should not complain, because they were definitely far less than in previous years. Another goal which I should likely mention is that I did not only complete my Goodreads reading goal, but that I surpassed it! My goal was 60, and I was able to read 75!
