Firstly, I would like to apologize for posting this Wrap-up fairly late. They will normally be going up on the last day of each respective month, but at the end of September, I was preparing for a long journey to Romania, and my boyfriend and I also celebrated our anniversary on October 1st. Writing this post in advance was also impossible, due to my schedule during the weeks leading up to my anniversary and trip.
Now that I’m settled in at my grandparents’ in Romania, however, I have the time to sit and write this post! Note: I was going to complete and publish this post yesterday (Oct. 4), but my wifi here is finicky and it went out before I could finish. And then it was bed time, haha. Sorry guys!
We are good and truly into the Fall season now, here on the norther side of the hemisphere, and I’ve been loving it. Don’t get me wrong, I do miss Summer for all of its good characteristics, but I do not miss the intense heat we experienced this year. And I also cannot get enough of those pumpkin spice lattes! Have any of you (with Starbucks in their country) been enjoying them as much as I have?! I sure hope so! I didn’t know if they would have PSLs here in Romania, and I didn’t have time to look into it, with so much going on, and I therefore let my boyfriend buy me one last PSL frapp before I left, haha. Because they’ll definitely be gone when I get back to Canada.
As I mentioned in my last monthly wrap-up post, I was (and still am) looking forward to “cute Fall fashion (especially the boots, omg the boots), pumpkin patches, being able to enjoy hot tea, pumpkin spice lattes, and being able to bundle up in reading socks and a cozy blanket with a good book and a hot beverage,” this Autumn. And yes, I just quoted myself, Talis style (and if you want to understand what that means, you’ll have to read The Scorpion Rules and The Swan Riders by Erin Bow! They’re so good, just do it!) Although, now I’m realizing that I might miss out on the pumpkin patches, since I won’t be returning to Canada until October 27th. But oh well. Let’s take a look back at September!
LOOKING BACK
So, this is all that has taken place here on my book blog in September of this year. It’s not much, because I hit a bit of a slump due to finishing a readathon at the beginning of September, and then going on a 5 day trip to Quebec City, but, some stuff did still indeed happen!

Gah! Your TBR makes me want to read faster because I’ve seen some of those and they look really good! But alas, I’m on a self-mandated book-buying-ban. *sigh* How do normal people read so much? :/ Anyway! Happy October! (And let me know if you find a Starbucks in Romania. I’m curious because I’ve seen them in every other country I’ve been to so far. Haha! [they’re taking over the world.])
Hehe! And I’m on a self-mandated book-buying-ban too! Happy October to you too! And I found a Starbacks here last time (4 years ago), but I’ll let you know! 😀
Haahaha! Same flavors as Canada? Wait… does Canada have the same flavors as America?
Good question! I think Canad has mostly the same flavours as America. As for Romania, their website doesn’t say, so I’ll have to see if I find an actual location 😛
Hee hee! Good luck!
Thank you!
Your blog looks so pretty and autumn-ish. I hope you have fun in Romania!
Thank you so much! And thank youu!
I wish my library had The Diabolic! I want to read it badly!
It’s not out yet 🙂 so they may get it once it’s published on November 1st
