It’s been far too long since I’ve had time to make one of these posts, and I’m very sorry to all of you for that! But here it finally is, #3 of my Currently Reading, Watching, Trying series! I’m sad to have missed the opportunity to discuss some of the books I’ve read, and some of the shows I’ve watched since my last update post like this, but luckily I was able to review them all, so you can check my thoughts about each of those things that way! I’ve also been thinking of adding a “Listening to” section, where I share what’s on my most current playlist. What do you guys think?

– CURRENTLY READING –

I’ve been very excited to get to this book since hearing about it, and I am happy that it has not disappointed me thus far! There is a definitely lack of diversity, which was a little disappointing, but otherwise the writing is of good quality, and the world building thus far is more than satisfactory. This book is written in the third person (which is something I was very happy about), and it also changes perspectives between characters (which is great!) I am curious to see how this plot is going to develop, and whether the “tempestuous romance” will be as stormy as has been promised!

I’m still watching Goblin: The Great and Lonely God with my bestie, and because we can only get together once a week (if at all) due to our busy schedules, it’s been going very very slowly. We only have 2 episodes to go, and I really hope that we can finish this drama before I fly off to Asia! I’m not sure if I could handle waiting another 20 days without knowing what will happen to the characters I have grown to love!

While my sister, Aesthetically Alex, was home doing a placement, I started watching Riverdale with her and her boyfriend because they said it was really good! And it really is quite good! I just haven’t been able to watch it on my own ever since my sister left again, sigh. I guess I will have to try though!

And lastly, I finished Emergency Couple yesterday (after taking a 3 year break, haha), so today I had to pick a new kdrama to watch on my own. And the one I ended up putting on was Sweet Stranger and Me / The Man Living in Our House! I wasn’t too sure how I felt about the show during the first 2 episodes, but I’m a bit hooked now that I’m on episode 5. I shall let you know how it goes if I make another of these posts before I finish that drama!

Sources: I watch my Korean dramas on Dramafever and am watching Riverdale on Netflix! That is my go-to place for drama-watching (and I have a paid account for some years now) even though I used to be a www.viki.com girl only! Now I only go on Viki when Dramafever is down, although both sites are good, and premium accounts cost about the same for both.
