Tasty Vanilla Cupcake low fat ice cream, loaded with sprinkles, and made with fresh Canadian cream in every bite. It has 4g of protein and only 80 calories per serving, and tastes delicious. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
The first impressions I got from the new Breyers Delights was that the packaging looked really fun, that there were a good amount of flavour choices (with enough variety), and that the tubs were a little smaller than I had expected. I opted for the vanilla cupcake flavour because I try to avoid chocolate, and it’s just the flavour that seemed like it would be the tastiest for me. When I opened up the tub to have a taste, I was surprised (and delighted) to find that there were sprinkles in the ice cream! I tried a scoop and found that the flavour was more than okay.
After a few scoops, I realized that this ice cream is not quite as creamy as your classic ice cream. But that’s completely fine because I didn’t feel weighed down (or guilty) after eating a few spoonfuls. I also found it interesting that this ice cream has protein in it, since the low calories and protein content could be a great combo for someone who is trying to get/stay fit but who also wants to indulge in some ice cream.
I was a little concerned by the amount of ingredients in this product, and how many of them I can’t pronounce (since that’s usually a bit of a red flag for me). But I liked the flavour, and I suppose the ingredients are fine since I don’t eat a tub of ice cream a day (or even in a whole month). Overall, I’d say that I do recommend this ice cream for people looking for a low calorie ice cream.
Ooh, I don’t eat Breyers often but this looks really yummy and like you said the packaging looks fun and inviting! I like how you noted its creaminess or lack of it. Thanks for sharing this flavor Flavia!! 🙂
