Mondays have been a lot more bearable since I started participating in #ARCstravaganza! I know that this book is out already, and I hope that I’m not breaking any rules by using it, but I really wanted to feature it! Some of you may have seen that I’ve been kind of struggling with this book, but with this feature I hope to explain why. The reason why I am struggling is not because The Last Magician is lacking in writing quality, plot, or good characters, but rather because I’ve been busy with a variety of things and have therefore had little reading time.

On top of that, I’m in kind of a reading slump…and this book is no quick beach read! It’s a very detailed books which mixes history, fantasy, and science fiction, and it is awesome! I am hoping to have more time to bury my nose into The Last Magician this week, and I hope that none of you were turned off from reading this book because you were seeing me struggle over the past week!
