Yay, it’s Monday again (yes, I know, a silly thing to be excited about, but this is simply due to the fact that I can post up another #ARCstravaganza post)! This week I’ll be posting about a book which I have been eagerly awaiting since last August! Thank you Krysti at YA and Wine and Sarah at The Clever Reader for creating #ARCstravaganza! This meme is meant for book bloggers to show off and discuss their ARCs! I think that this sounds very fun, and if you agree, be sure to check out the info below, as well as Krysti’s info post about the meme!
From YA and Wine: #ARCstravaganza is a weekly meme hosted by Krysti at YA and Wine and Sarah at The Clever Reader to give book bloggers/bookstagrammers a chance to show off those ARCs/eARCs/Galleys! Comment on their weekly posts with a link to your own #ARCstravaganza blog post, or post a pic on Instagram using the #ARCstravaganza hashtag, and you will be entered to win an ARC copy of an upcoming YA novel! One winner will be chosen at random each month!
Update: In August #ARCstravaganza is going to switch to Instagram only this week. We’re so sorry for the change, but it’s getting really hard to manually track all the entries each month for the giveaway. We really appreciate your participation!

As I mentioned above, I’ve been very excited about this book’s release since last August when I read the first book in the series, Nevernight. This series is also dear to my heart because Nevernight was actually the very first physical ARC I have ever received! I had started to become a little discouraged, and doubting my abilities as a blogger, but felt happy and motivated again when my ARC of Nevernight came in the mail! The book itself was also quite good, with an intense plot, and magnificent writing. I cannot wait to dig into Godsgrave, and see where the story takes us next.

I won’t be including the Goodreads synopsis for this book because it’s a sequel, and there are bound to be spoilers in it. I have a spoiler-phobia! Haha. And I also don’t want to accidentally spoil anything for those new to the series. I will be reading and reviewing this book in late August, or early September.
That cover is gorgeous! I’m almost drooling. I haven’t read any of this work yet, but I’m curious to see how this series is.
Happy reading, Flavia!
Yesssss I love it! Although I’m a bigger fan of the UK and Aus covers for this series, hehe. His writing and world are both very interesting. I haven’t read his other series yet, but I highly recommend this one!
Thanks so much, and happy reading to you too!
I received an e-galley for Nevernight last year and mostly enjoyed what I read of the story, but I am convinced that digital copies are not the way to go with this book. It turns all the footnotes into chapter endnotes and so it is a lot harder to follow. Of course this means that I still need to finish reading Nevernight, so I can read Godsgrave. Hmm…yet another book I need to squeeze into my reading calendar sometime soon.
Oh that sounds horrid! Noooo the footnotes are meant to be read as you go (or skipped entirely if they’re not for you). Another reason for me to dislike e-galleys and e-books haha 😛
Yeah, when I got the hardcover and opened it up I was like “oooh…this makes so much more sense now.” I’m definitely going to pass on e-galleys for the rest of this series.
Ahhh I would have been so mad!
Oh, no! I think my comment went to junk! Anyway…LOVE this post! Thanks so much for participating, dear! And I’m so excited for that beautiful book! <3<3<3
Oh no! I don’t even know how to check my junk folder now since the latest update 🙁
Thanks again for hosting! And thank you for your kind comment!! 😀
Aweee you’ll get some! But you don’t want them piling up when you’re already busy with other books hahaha
