– MY REVIEW –
I really enjoyed this drama! From the first few minutes, I could tell that that the cinematographic style would be different from what I’m used to when it comes to kdramas. It had a bit of an indie feel to it, and was very visually pleasing since they used a lot of bright colours, and good lighting. The dialogue was also quite clever, and often times witty!
The dialogue as well as the plot were funny and happy at times, and also sad at others, and I both laughed and cried while watching this drama. I like that in following the lives of five college girls sharing a dorm, it addressed many relevant happenstances which women of their age, in their situations would encounter.
I really liked how the main focus of the drama was the friendship between the five girls, and the struggles of five females sharing an apartment. Each of the girls’ experiences with romance are also very different, as well as very believable! I have to say that each of the plot lines were interesting to see play out, and that certain turns in plot, as well as all of the characters were all quite unique to this TV show.
I recommend this drama to season, as well as new, kdrama-watchers because I believe that it would be enjoyable for those new to kdramas, as well as those who are used to them, or have already been enjoying them for a while. Overall, it was a joy to watch, even while darker parts of the plot were playing out.
