⤖ My Review ⬻

I’ve been meaning to read a Marie Kondo book (either her original book on tidying or the manga version which sounds and looks super cute) for some time! I know that she took the world by storm and that I could probably benefit from her advice on tidying. So, when I heard that she was coming out with a book about tidying up your workplace, I knew that this was my chance to dip a toe in. I was also intrigued because I used to spend a good part of my week in the office (before COVID-19) and I figured it’d be best if I get some advice on how to tidy up the space that I spend so much time in. I love the minimalist and simplistic beauty of the cover!

Additionally, I liked how the index was laid out (and the rest of the book by default). I did think, however, that the interior could have been designed a little more interestingly (maybe with some different formatting and/or by including some simple illustrations). But that doesn’t really matter when I consider the information that Marie Kondo and Scott Sonenshein’s Joy at Work contains. I normally keep the top of my work desk pretty tidy, but my drawers have gotten a bit out of control…and I can’t wait to tidy them up (and keep them tidy) with the motivation I gained from Kondo and Sonenshein!
