I read my first Nicola Rendell book, Shimmy Bang Sparkle, almost 2 years ago and remember it being a fun experience. I was, therefore, looking forward to reading Do You Feel It Too? by her as well! And I wasn’t disappointed! Even though I personally enjoy more of a slow burn, there were still enough obstacles in Gabe and Lily’s way to make this book enjoyable for me. I do have to say, however, that the thing I loved most of all was…Lily’s parrot, the General!

He was so so so amusing and I would request a sequel to Do You Feel It Too? just for the General alone! Having read quite a bit of romance, I also found Lily and Gabe’s professions to be somewhat unique, which definitely gave this love story a bit of a new spin. But, the General. I keep going back to that parrot! I listened to parts of this book on audiobook (while driving and such), and found that the narrators did an amazing job of bringing not only their own characters to life, but also the General. So, overall, this was another Rendell book that was enjoyable for me.
