Happy Tuesday, and happy Top Ten Tuesday day, everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these, and that’s because I just haven’t been inspired. I’ve also been devoting time to another post series that I publish on Tuesdays called Book Birthdays (and I’ve been having a lot of fun with that). But, this week’s TTT prompt is a Halloween freebie, and I just couldn’t pass it up!
– About the Meme –
For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote
from The Artsy Reader Girl, the host of this weekly meme:
“I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information. You’ll find the schedule of upcoming TTT topics below so you can plan ahead. I’ll post a Linky here on the blog each week so you can link up your post (if you want). If you don’t have a blog, post your picks in the comment section below! Have tons of fun talking books and getting to know your fellow bloggers!”

Here are some books from my TBR that I think would be great to read around or on Halloween as well! I’m sad that I haven’t been able to read them yet, but I’m hoping to get to them soon! Please do let me know whether you agree about some of these, or if any of them are not a right fit for those Halloween/spooky vibes!
Mary, Who Wrote Frankenstein looks wonderful!
It was! I really hope that my kids will enjoy dark books like that haha
These all sound like great books to read at this time of year!
Thank you so much! 😀
This is great! What is To the Bone about?
The Not Even Bones one? It’s about a girl who helps her mother in her illegal activities by dissecting and packaging the bodies of supernatural beings that her mom brings home. But the main girl, Nita, is also a supernatural being, and she somehow gets sold on the black market and has to escape. It was gory and intense 😀
Omg it sounds awesome!! Going yo my TBR. And yes, I meant Not even Bones oops
Yay! And no worries!
Is it just me or this year’s releases have darker tone compared to the previous years? Anyway, great picks! I’m so behind on 2018 releases but I have many of them on my tbr!
I’m not sure! I’ll have to look back at what I read in the last 2 years and see haha. And you’re not the only one behind on 2018 releases!
I agree with Dread Nation! Zombies are perfect for Halloween.
Yaaay! That was such a good book too! 😀
