Top Ten Tuesday #51: Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR

Happy Tuesday, and happy Top Ten Tuesday day, everyone! This week’s theme is: Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR! I haven’t had this few ARCs to read during the summer since like 2015, so I’m hoping to read some backlisted books as well while I (hopefully) lay and read on a beach or dock or patio (or anywhere nice) somewhere! (Also since the first day of Fall is Sept 22, I’ll be listing books pubbed by that date!) Please continue reading if you want to see which ten books I selected this week!

– About the Meme –

For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote
from The Artsy Reader Girl, the host of this weekly meme!

I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

You’ll find the schedule of upcoming TTT topics below so you can plan ahead. I’ll post a Linky here on the blog each week so you can link up your post (if you want). If you don’t have a blog, post your picks in the comment section below! Have tons of fun talking books and getting to know your fellow bloggers!

    1. Ahhh that’s so good to hear! I was a bit worried because My Lady Jane was SO good! Thanks so much you too! And I’ll be sure to check out your TTT post!

    1. Hehe I’m not sure! The first cover had purple flowers, and the second one had a broken necklace……so I dunno what’s happening hahaha

    1. Yeah I’m always intrigued by Pride and Prejudice retellings hehe. I can’t seem to get sick of that story! And yesss super excited for Toil & Trouble!

  1. What a great list!! I haven’t read My Lady Jane yet, but it’s been on my list for ages and it sounds so good! The same with Stalking Jack the Ripper. I need to read them so I can read all the sequels on here! I’m also SUUUUUUUPER excited about Pride!! I can’t wait!!!

    1. Thank you so much! And I hope that you’ll get to read My Lady Jane and Stalking Jack the Ripper very soon! Both series are great 😀

  2. I can’t WAIt for Wildcard! That’s probably one of my top most anticipated reads of this year. Bright We Burn- wow what an amazing cover. Same for The Lantern’s Ember.

    Great list!!

    1. Yeeees I’m excited for that one too! I don’t know what to expect though so I’m also a little scared lol And yeeeees Lantern’s Ember sounds like it’ll be amazing. Thank you!

  3. This is such a great TBR! Sea Witch sounds really good, I can’t wait to read it as well, but I think you might get to it before I do, so I’ll wait to hear your thoughts about it haha, I can’t wait 🙂 And WILDCARD, I can’t wait to read that one, I wish September would come faster, just for that book hahaha 🙂
    Happy reading! 😀

    1. Thank you! I’m super happy with it! And I hope to get to Sea Witch soon lol my reading time is very erratic, so some days I’ll only be able to read 5 pages, whereas other days I can read half a book or a whole book in one sitting. And yeeees Wildcard!! Happy reading to you too!

    1. Thanks so much! I’m reading My Plain Jane and am liking it. I’m curious to see how it’ll end! I hope we’ll both like Sea Witch! And yay I love spreading the word about books! Happy reading! <3
