Top Ten Tuesday #45: Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR

Happy Tuesday, and happy Top Ten Tuesday day, everyone! This week it’s all about the top books in our Spring TBRs! One of the things that I look forward to the most when Spring arrives, is that I can start spending more time outside. More specifically, I’m excited to be able to read outside again. There’s nothing quite like fresh air and a good book for me. Continue reading if you want to see which ten books I selected this week!

For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote
from The Artsy Reader Girl, the host of this weekly meme!

I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

You’ll find the schedule of upcoming TTT topics below so you can plan ahead. I’ll post a Linky here on the blog each week so you can link up your post (if you want). If you don’t have a blog, post your picks in the comment section below! Have tons of fun talking books and getting to know your fellow bloggers!

… and now that all of the necessary stuff is out of the way …

    1. Yaaas! Too many hahaha I wish that I could read so many more than I actually am haha. And yeah I’m super pumped for the ones you listed 😉

  1. My pre-order of Tyler Johnson Was Here is delivering today and I can’t wait to read it. <3 It looks so good (and that cover! *heart eyes* ). I hope you love Dread Nation as much as I did, and of course, ACOFAS is on my list too. I think I also put Ace of Shades on my list this week! (I think? Lol I should know this but it's been a long Tuesday haha)

    1. Yay! Oh my gosh the hardcover must be GORGEOUS. I love that cover so much! And oooo good to hear about Dread Nation, I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it yet hehe. And ACOFAS! I hope it’ll be epic cause I pre-ordered it lol. (And you did have Ace of Shades on your list hahaha) <3

      1. I honestly don’t know why Dread Nation isn’t getting more hype! I feel like I need to protect and hype that book at all costs, lmao. It’s one of those rare ones that stuck with me so well, that every time I see a negative review, I’m like, “Nooooo! How could you?!” (lmao not really, but you know how it is :P)

    1. Right?! I feel so lucky to be able to read these books. And yeeees those ones sound super good! I was going to start The Astonishing Color of After last night but I’m so scared of how much it’ll make me cry LOL

  2. Great list! The Astonishing Color of After seems to be on a lot of blogger’s lists today. I’m intrigued and I’ll definitely be adding it to my TBR!

  3. I just finished and LOVED Ace of Shades! And hopefully I can get around to Legendary soon 🙂 I’ve seen so much buzz around The Astonishing Color of After but hadn’t given much thought to picking it up until now. The magical realism and positive reviews are starting to draw me in!

    1. Oh yaaay! Can’t wait for Ace of Shades! I’ve heard nothing but good things 🙂 Also, I started The Astonishing Color of After last night, and I really like the writing!

  4. I’m so excited to read Caraval and then I can binge read Legendary. I love when that happens! 🙂 Here’s hoping you love all of the books you’re looking forward to reading this spring!

    1. Yaaaay! I love binge-reading more than one book in a series at the same time hehe. And thanks so much! I hope you enjoy Caraval and Legendary! 😀

  5. Oh this is such a wonderful list, Flavia! I can’t WAIT to read The Astonishing Color and Emergency Contact (why isn’t EVERYONE talking about this book? It needs more hype, it sounds AMAZING). I hope you’ll love all of these 🙂 x

    1. Right? I can’t believe that this is my list. That this is my hobby…you know? And yeeees super excited for those! I’m a few pages into The Astonishing, and hope to start Emergency Contact sooooon 🙂
