#ReadThemAllThon Update [#2]

pokemon-reading.gifAnd it’s time for another #ReadThemAllThon update! For those of you who don’t know about it, #ReadThemAllThon is a readathon which is Pokémon / Pokémon GO themed!

For info about the readathon, you can read my sign up post for it here.
As you may know (if you’ve read my last update), I had a bit of a wonky start due to not having finished Nevernight when the tumblr_nnfzkzDz9k1tugqqno1_400readathon started, and then suffering from an intense book hangover afterward. I managed to push through, though, and read This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab at a relatively okay speed, all things considered. Haha. I finished and reviewed This Savage Song, and then moved on to Ghostly Echoes by William Ritter.

Last weekend though, I happend to go cottaging / camping for 3 days, and had absolutely no time to read! Thus, I fell behind again. Luckily though, I had at least 1 day this week where I could read for a few solid hours, and I finished Ghostly Echoes late last night. I now have my Marsh Badge and my Cascade Badge! It made me tear up, but it didn’t turn my eyes into waterfalls…which I’m not sure is good or bad. I thought I would cry, just because I’d read a sneak peek of this book some months back, and thought that some parts would be very very sad.

But anyway…After reviewing Ghostly Echoes, I was also able to evolve my Pikachu into a Raichu! And he is now at 468 CP!

Labyrinth-Lost-Final-CoverI have now started on the 3rd book for the #ReadThemAllThon, Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova, which I’ve selected to complete in order to earn the Boulder Badge! I’ve been very excited to read this book ever since I first heard of it.

untitled9But I’ve been holding back because it will be released on September 6th, and I try to review books as close to the release date as possible. I’ve also been busy reading and reviewing other books anyway. I filled my schedule up quite thoroughly, haha. I may have to put a “reading & reviewing schedule” up soon. What do you guys think? Would that be helpful for readers, authors and publishers, to know when I’ll be reading and reviewing what, as well as when I have spots in my schedule and when I do not?

Thanks for reading, and feel free to leave opinions and comments below! I’d love to know what you think about this readathon, or readathons in general! Or Pokémon even, or my choice of Pokémon (Pichu-Pikachu-Raichu) for this contest!

      1. Oh nooo! But you both still have time to catch up!!! And I only read 1 book last week too 🙁 been too busy. But I got some points by tweeting, taking pics of books with pokemon on them, reviewing, and evolving! I believe in you both! <3
