August has come to an end (far too quickly if you ask me), and it’s time for my monthly wrap-up. While for the last 2 months I’ve been posting these wrap ups only in the newsletter, I have decided that I will not be doing the newsletter again, until there are more sign-ups, haha. Therefore, my monthly wrap-ups will come in the form of blog posts, until further notice.
The beach rat (is that even a thing?) in me is very distraught to know that Summer is almost at an end, and I’m very sad that I will not be able to get any extra beach days in before the weather turns.
Another side of me, however, is very very excited for Fall! Because it means cute Fall fashion (especially the boots, omg the boots), pumpkin patches, being able to enjoy hot tea, pumpkin spice lattes, and being able to bundle up in reading socks and a cozy blanket with a good book and a hot beverage.
Looking back
So, here is what has taken place with my book blog in August! As you may notice, I did not post any memes, or many book tags or other thing since starting to participate in my first readathon (#ReadThemAllThon). I had announced before the readathon began, that this would happen, as I am trying to read as many books as possible! I know that I will not win, haha, as there are other participates who are already done or just way ahead of me. But I would at least like to read the 8 books which I have selected for the readathon, but the end of the contest! You can expect more blog posts once #ReadThemAllThon ends on Sept 4th!
