⤖ My Review ⬻
The moment I heard about this book and this blog tour, I just knew that I had to get involved! I like indulging in beauty masks when I have enough time to relax at home and kind of have a little spa day for myself. My only issue has been that some of them are made out of less natural ingredients than others. And I mean, if you’re buying something in a store that’s sitting on the shelf, I guess it’s impossible for a lot of the products to be all-natural because they would go bad. So, I was obviously excited when I heard about this book containing 38 all-natural (and simple) recipes for beauty masks! I got even more excited when I found out that it comes with 10 sheet masks so that I could try the recipes right away without having to worry about where I’m going to find some plain, clean mask sheets. (Thank you, Odd Dot!)
The mask sheets were also super pretty! They weren’t plain white ones, but have beautiful patterns on them matching the look of the rest of the book (and made me wish that I could just re-use them because they were so so pretty). And that brings me to the interior design of the book. It’s as gorgeous as the cover art and the way that the recipes are depicted is not just pretty but easy to follow and understand. I also liked the variety of the recipes inside, and that I was able to find a recipe for the winter season since once it’s November, I tend to get really into cinnamon and clove everything. All in all, I was very impressed with this book and I can’t wait to try the rest of the recipes inside!
Oh, this sounds like so much fun! I love face masks. 🙂
Yaaay! You’d definitely enjoy this then 🙂
I haven’t tried making any beauty products myself but face masks are one I’ve been curious about. I’ll have to check this out!
Yeahhh I think it’s one of the few that you don’t need to know chemistry to do haha (or that you have to worry about storing afterward) 🙂 and yeah I definitely recommend!
Right! I wish it was convenient to make my own bath bombs but I hear that’s pretty tricky 😛
Ohhh I made some last Christmas! And yeah it’s tricky and sadly they’re not as much fun as some of the bought ones hahaha
