Vegan & Cruelty-Free

I am pretty happy with the length and density of my lashes. Since I have dirty blonde hair though, my lashes are pretty much invisible when they’re not coated in mascara. My eyes are also a little sensitive to mascara (especially when I’m trying a new formula), so I’m always looking for a volumizing mascara made with ingredients that are as natural as possible. Along comes the Kat Von D Go Big or Go Home mascara, promising to make both of those dreams come true! And it absolutely delivered.

The first time I used this mascara, I may have been in a rush and didn’t apply it properly because I didn’t find the effect to be very volumizing at all. After a few hours of wearing it on my lashes though, I found that my eyes didn’t burn or feel dry (like they normally do when I’m trying a new mascara). This has never happened before, which confirmed that this mascara is truthfully made out very good and natural ingredients. I was impressed. Also, when applying the Go Big or Go Home mascara after that first try, I did find that it added more volume to my lashes than the mascara I was previously using. There is also the added bonus that this mascara is vegan and cruelty-free!

The only complaint I would have, I guess, is that the mascara can get a little clumpy on my lashes, which I think could be fixed if the bristles on the mascara brush were just a little longer. Overall though, I’m very happy with Kat Von D’s newest mascara!
