The book contains specific instructions for when, where, and how to plant each herb and flower, and also includes handy information on when to pick them and what to plant them with. The beauty of this book is that these edible plants can be grown in even the smallest of spaces, which makes Herbs + Flowers the perfect gift for any kitchen shelf herb growers or urban gardeners.

I was so impressed with the packaging for this card set! It literally comes in a little wooden box, with a slide-off lid. And all of the details were burned into the wooden box. It just looks fantastic! But my praise doesn’t end there, because the cards themselves impressed me even more! You can tell that each card was styled and designed with care, and I found that while flipping through the deck, I loved every single one! If I had to pick a favourite though, it would have to be the one that I’m showing you below, featuring the full moon because I’m a moon child, haha.

Before opening The Wildflower’s Workbook, I knew that the art inside would be beautiful just based on what the cover looks like. But, I was blown away! Some of you may have seen my unboxing of the three items that I’m reviewing in this post, and will have seen how in awe I was of the art in this workbook! I’m not sure if I could ever write in this book, just because I don’t want to ruin it. And I definitely want to frame some of the interior art and hand it on every single wall of my house! Even now, while writing this review, I want to get up, get this book out, and flip through it again!

Pip McCormac’s Herbs + Flowers: Plant Grow Eat impressed me as well! The interior, like the exterior, is very minimalist, with a lot of white surfaces, little text, and a beautiful illustration of each herb and flower being described. I love that each description was short and sweet, sticking to the important facts. The first time that I flipped through this book, I honestly just looked at the illustrations at first. The second time around, I looked for some of my favourite herbs and flowers, and was intrigued by some of the new things (such as uses that I had not heard or thought of) that I learned about them all.

THANK YOU FOR READING MY NATURE-THEMED MULTI REVIEW POST! HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE GAME AND BOOKS FEATURED HERE? HOW DO YOU CELEBRATE NATURE WHEN YOU ARE STUCK INDOORS? LET’S DISCUSS!
