Top Ten Tuesday (#30): Ten Books I Loved During The First Year I Started My Blog

toptentuesday2Soooo, I started blogging in April of 2016. Yes, just last year. But it seems like I’ve been doing this for so much longer than that! I feel like this has been my hobby for as long as I can remember. Very strange, all in all. But anyway, here are my top 10 favourite books that I read in the first year that I started my blog…last year…haha. These are all still current favourites as well, which goes to show just how much I liked them. Maybe I’ll have to take a look back in a year, or 2, or 3, and see how I feel about them then? It would be interesting to do, I think!

For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote from The Broke and the Bookish, the genuises behind this weekly meme!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and, if you want to, add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s posts (typically put up midnight EST on Tuesday) so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

And now that all of the necessary stuff is out of the way….

  1. This is a really fun TTT topic! I started blogging early on in high school so my favorite books were mostly contemporary YA, especially ones by John Green. So much has changed since then 🙂

    1. Ahhh so cool! It’s always interesting to look back, especially when it comes to books. It’s funny though…I used to read adult thrillers and romances when I was a teen, and now that I’m an adult…I read mostly YA haha.

  2. Well, I’ll go with my first year of blogging with this blog, because I honestly don’t remember when I started my old blog. Okay, so 2016 was my first year of blogging and I guess my top 10 books are: The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers, Dreamworld by Rachel E. Kelly, Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo, The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson, A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, Red Rising by Pierce Brown, The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh, Borderline by Mishell Baker, and The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid.
