monthly wrap-up

Monthly Wrap-Up (January 2018)

New year, new me! And yes, I’m one of the people who says that, and tries to become better and better every year. Haha. I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with that! If you’re curious about some of my reading goals, I talked about them in my December 2017 wrap up, and as for my blogging goals … well, I’m always trying to improve. I have nothing more specific to say about that, haha, so without further ado, here’s what has happened on the blog this past January!

  1. Nice! I’ve been wanting to read the Little Book of Hygge for a while, but I hadn’t heard of the Little Book of Lykke. Going to check that one out. Thank you!

    1. Ahhh well I’m glad to have been the one to spread the word to you about The Little Book of Lykke! And you’re welcome 🙂 thank you for reading!

    1. Hahaha sometimes I think that I should give myself a month off. I sign up for way too many books, and then have all of these other blogging ideas. And I’m hoping that Shadowsong will be BETTER than Shadowsong haha. So we’ll see 😉

      Happy reading to you too!

    1. Hahaha I’m also CRAZY! Jk I seriously don’t know how I do it sometimes. I feel like I never get time to read. And I hope that you’ll be able to catch up! You can do it!

  2. Looks like you had a great month! That haul is impressive – so many books in there that I want to read!! What are you thinking of Reign of the Fallen so far? I just bought it about a week ago and am really looking forward to it.

    1. Yeahhh January felt both long and short at the same time. It was a strange month, and I kept looking at my Goodreads number in amazement because I felt like I had no reading time at all! And I read one chapter of Reign of the Fallen and am SO HOOKED. Reading more tonight. Did you start reading it since leaving this comment? (I’m so slow in responding sometimes lol)

      1. Not yet! I’m hoping to read it soon, but who knows whether or not I’ll actually be successful with that, haha. I’ve got soooo many books I want to read right now, it’s ridiculous! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying it though! Can’t wait to get to it 🙂

        1. Haha I hear ya! I want to read way more books than I actually have time for! Also, there’s a part in Reign of the Fallen that I needed to talk to some people who already read the book about … so let me know if you need to talk to anyone at any point while reading the book! 🙂

  3. You’ve got a lot of books to read this month! This is my first reading challenge and with starting a new job I’ve just set it at 30 books to see how I go. Good luck with yours

    1. Yeah! Hoping I can get through them all haha. And it’s a good idea to do 30! You don’t want to stress yourself out. Good luck with your reading as well! And thanks for reading 🙂
